  • wire wreath frame
  • hot glue gun
  • scissors
  • greenery of your choice
  • dried oranges, easy to make yourself or see link

How to Make Dried Oranges in the Oven

  1. Slice the oranges into thin slices. (Make sure to cut them as thin as you can so that it dries out faster.)
  2. Arrange the orange slices onto a baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 200 degrees F for 3-5 hours or until fully dry.

* If you do not fully dry the slices, they may get moldy by the end of the season. I’ve had mine for 3 years already and they haven’t molded!

Instructions for Winter Wreath

1. Arrange the greenery onto the wire wreath frame. I like to intertwine the pieces into the wire wherever I can to ensure that it is secure.

2. After you fill the entire wreath with greenery, pick up the wreath and see where the greenery is not fully secure yet. Then, I like to grab a long strip of greenery and use it as a string to tie the insecure pieces.

If you want to have even more fun with this project, invite some friends over and do it together! Provide the materials or have each person bring their own supplies and just have fun. Some more ideas for a beautiful wreath are pinecones, mistletoe, and even adding eucalyptus is beautiful.
