Welcome to Two Peas in Two Pods! We’re Inna and Irene, twin sisters living in two separate “pods”, inspiring each other to create lovely, cozy homes that bless our families. Welcome to our online nest where we share all about our homemaking journey.
We come from a big, happy family of 13! Our parents and older siblings immigrated from Kazakhstan before we were born into the family, so our primary language was Russian. In our childhood most people couldn’t tell us apart. As you can imagine, we had lots of fun growing up!
We live in the beautiful state of California. Both of us take advantage of all the wonderful spots we get to drive to, whether that’s the beaches, lakes, or mountains.
Of the two, Inna is two minutes older. Inna married the love of her life in 2022. Now they have a sweet little son and live in the country on a 5 acre property enjoying the serene nature.
Irene has been a housewife since 2021 and is currently pregnant with her second son. Together with her loving husband, they recently bought their first home in the city. Nowadays they have lots of fun together renovating and working on the house.
We both enjoy cooking from scratch, experimenting with sourdough recipes, and nourishing our families with whole foods! We strive to be frugal housewives and make our homes beautiful on a budget. Our goal is to accomplish keeping a clean home without any harsh chemicals or toxic ingredients.
Another fun fact about us is that we both play the violin and love to create music together with our families, whether that’s singing a hymn or fiddling away on our violins.
