“Be My Sweet Pea”- Galentine’s Brunch Party

February 12, 2026 by TwoPeasinTwoPods Leave a Comment

Come along as I show how I hosted a “Be My Sweet Pea” Galentine’s brunch party with some friends! Since I have sweet peas growing in my garden, I came up with the idea of making a sweet pea themed brunch with our book club ladies. It turned out simple but beautiful!

What is a Galentine’s Party?

The term “Galentines Day” came about for celebrating Valentine’s Day with your ‘gals’ or best friends. I like any excuse to have a party or get-together, so since Valentine’s Day is coming up we turned it into a Galentines brunch!

Golden Silverware, Cloth Napkins, Sweet Pea Flower Bouquets & Candles

All it took to make this beautiful Galentine’s brunch party was gold ware that we used for our table at our wedding that I only pull out on fancy occasions now. Obviously, silverware will work just as well! Next, I used these beautiful muslin blue napkins, also from our wedding. Cloth napkins make any occasion feel more special in my opinion. And, as the theme “Be My Sweet Pea” suggests, I clipped bouquets of sweet pea flowers from my garden as the centerpieces. I just used some mason jars and other smaller-sized glass vases. Lastly, I set up some taper candles and little golden candle holders for the ambiance.

We kept the menu fairly simple as you can tell! Everyone likes good solid breakfast staples such as bacon and eggs, hashrowns, and fruit. One of my friends brought delicious homemade croissant bread that was flaky and super soft! We all enjoyed our time well spent, meaningful conversations, and a nice atmosphere!
