How to Arrange a Carrot and Flowers Spring Bouquet

April 19, 2025 by TwoPeasinTwoPods 1 Comment

With Easter Sunday coming up this weekend, I set up on a mission to add some festivity in our home with a beautiful spring bouquet. This carrot and flowers spring bouquet adds a cheery atmosphere in our home! The carrots on the bottom add some color and the greenery of the carrots act as fillers, orchestrating a whimsical floral arrangement. Carrots are symbolic of new life, which is perfect for the Resurrection Sunday!

Since Easter Sunday is a paramount holiday to our family, I went the extra mile and bought flowers from Whole Foods. It’s literally like a mile from our house (haha). That being said, wildflowers will be just as dandy! I actually prefer the imperfect, playful way that wildflowers look, so I bought some lisianthus stems and some other wild-like filler greens I found. Flowers picked from a field usually just don’t last as long, but they are free!

This year, I picked out white blooms and mostly white carrots to represent the purity that Christ has gifted us through His sacrifice. Colorful blooms would also be beautiful and vibrant, indicating the joy we have because Jesus arose from the grave. There is obviously no right or wring way to do this, but these are just some ideas;)

How to Assemble the Carrots and Flowers Spring Bouquet

It’s really no guessing game! But, in case you want some further explanation, here it is:).

  1. Find some carrots with the greenery on top still intact, whether it’s in your own garden or at a local grocery store.
  2. Next, select whatever florals your heart desires.
  3. Stick all of these elements into a glass vase.
  4. Finally, play around with the flowers and greens so that it sits the way you want it to.

Ta-da! This is what my final two bouquets looked like. I thought the carrots added a unique touch to the arrangements. Very suiting for Easter Sunday or anytime during springtime! The vases are actually from my wedding, but they are still on amazon. They are beautiful and I use them all the time for any bouquets all year round.
