Why You Will Love These Yogurt Popsicles
Doesn’t summer just scream POPSICLES!? Summertime is my favorite time of year because I love getting toasted in the hot weather and being able to cool down by eating something refreshing and scrumptious like these berry yogurt popsicles! I love berries and yogurt so the marriage of the two makes a delicious and nostalgic snack!
Because my husband and I enjoy ice cream and popsicles so much, it would be too expensive and I would be running to the store much too often to supply enough popsicles for us. Therefore I started making these myself at home because it saves money, has cleaner ingredients, and is a fun activity to do with kids.
In addition, these berry popsicles are so easy! All you need is a popsicle mold, like this one that I got from Ikea, yogurt, berries of your choice, and a sweetener (not an affiliate link). Then just add all of the ingredients into a blender, pour it into the popsicle mold, freeze, and kick back on your porch swing! It takes less than 5 minutes to prepare and the freezer does the rest of the work!
There are so many variations to this berry popsicle recipe because you can really add any fruit or berries you have on hand into the recipe and make it your own. I have also substituted yogurt with other dairy products such as kefir and it turned out just as delicious!

Materials
- Blender or food processor
- Popsicle mold (you could even just use cups with wooden popsicle sticks if you don’t have the mold)

Ingredients
- Plain yogurt
- Fresh or frozen berries: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and/or blackberries (any combination of these works)
- Honey or maple syrup (if using sweetened yogurt, additional sweetener might not be necessary)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Here I will show you the process to make these delicious and easy berry yogurt popsicles!
First, add yogurt, berries, and honey into the blender.

Next blend the ingredients until it has a smooth consistency. If you are using frozen berries it may take longer. Depending on the consistency you like your popsicles, the batter can be more or less chunky.

Then pour the mixture into your popsicle mold and put into the freezer overnight or at least for 4 hours.

Variations on Berry Yogurt Popsicles
- You could substitute yogurt for kefir for the same delicious taste!
- Have no berries at home or they are not in season? Try any fruit of your choice!
- Don’t have a popsicle mold? Try just pouring the batter into reusable cups and put wooden popsicle sticks in the center, works in a similar fashion!
- If you would like some more tang in addition to yogurt, try adding lemon juice into the recipe!
- Sometimes I also add a dash of vanilla extract for some flavor or I make this recipe with vanilla yogurt.
