In continuation of the 12 Days of Christmas series, today we are sharing gifting a wellness bundle! You may be wondering, what is a wellness bundle? As we all know, Christmastime can sometimes be the time of sickness because of the colder weather, lots of gatherings, and stress. That’s why I came up with gifting something really practical and that will raise up our loved ones immune systems for the holidays! Could you guess what would be part of the wellness bundle?

“On the Forth Day of Christmas My True Love Gave to Me The Wellness Bundle
Homemade Potpourri Blend, Two Bar Soaps, and a loaf of sourdough bread.“
If you know the lyrics to the “12 Days of Christmas” song you might get lost here because we are not coming up with the names to perfectly replace the original lyrics of the song. Sorry if it bothers you but we hope you still stick around to get great homemade gift idea inspiration!

So What is in The Wellness Bundle?
I already gave you hints with telling you that it strengthens the immune system and by providing the photo above. Let’s see if you guessed right!
Homemade Bone Broth
The first item in the wellness bundle is some homemade broth! It is soup season and some hearty broth is soo good for you! Packed with collagen, electrolytes, and minerals it will make the best gift for someone who may not have the time to make their own! Broth can be warmed and drank just by itself or used as the base for soups and pretty much in anything to replace water. Some people even make broth hot chocolate!

How to Make Broth
Throw some bones in a pot and cover with water. Bring the water to boil, then reduce heat to low and let it simmer on the stove for several hours. The longer you simmer it for, the more nutritious your broth will be! I like to add salt and vegetables like carrots and onions for additional flavor. It’s really simple and so healthy!
Elderberry Syrup
The second item in the wellness bundle is elderberry syrup! If you are interested in how to make it, here are the simple instructions. It is also a great way to fight against colds and flus. So by making it, you are showing your loved ones that you are wishing them great health throughout the holiday season!

How to Gift The Wellness Bundle
If you already know of friends or family who are sick, making this wellness bundle and leaving it at their front door will make an exceptional gift and let them know how much you love them! Or just gifting it just because is also super thoughtful because everyone wants to be healthy especially when there are so much fun events happening around this time of year.
Simply tie a ribbon on the jars and place in a bag or basket!

Too Practical of a Gift?
You may be wondering, is this too practical of a gift? I think we need to make gifts like this the norm because nowadays we don’t even know what to get people so what do we do? We go to the store and try buying something random that we don’t even know if they will enjoy or use. So, let’s gift things that we know are good for you and anyone can use!
