Welcome to the fifth day of the 12 Days of Christmas series! Today I want to share another great gift idea which is a jar of herb-infused olive oil! Everyone uses oil in their kitchen, so infusing herbs such as rosemary can add a different flavor and makes for a thoughtful gift!

How to Make Infused Oil
- Choose whatever herb you are wanting to use. Some good options are garlic, thyme, rosemary, dill, mint, basil, oregano or even chili flakes! You could use dry or fresh herbs but using dried will help the oil last longer. Make sure if you are using fresh herbs that they are washed and completely dried before adding into the oil.
- Next, pour olive oil into a jar of choice and place your choice of herb into it!
- Place onto a sunny windowsill for a couple of weeks for it to infuse all the flavors!
- Your jar of herb-infused olive oil is ready to gift!

How to Gift the Infused Olive Oil
- A jar of infused olive oil with focaccia bread and balsamic vinegar for dipping
- along with some meat such as steak
- add a jar in with a charcuterie board gift
“On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me a jar of herb-infused olive oil, the wellness bundle, homemade potpourri blend, two bar soaps, and a loaf of sourdough bread.”
We hope you are enjoying this series of handmade gifts and you feel inspired to make something special for your family and friends this year!
