For my son’s second birthday, we threw him a “Chugga Chugga two two” themed birthday party. We chose a train themed party since he loves anything on wheels! I kept decor minimal yet I think it turned out cute! Just some balloons, a banner I printed off Etsy, a vintage luggage, and a train toy on the cake!

The Train Birthday Decorations
Balloons
I love decorating any party with some balloons because, in my experience, all kids love balloons! Also, it is super easy to set up and can be thrown away after use. No need to store decorations. Just a one-time use item and it makes any space feel more festive and fun.
Train Banner
I found a cute banner off of Etsy that was just a few dollars that matched the theme I was going for. All I needed to do is print it off on cardstock paper, cut it out, and hang it up. I think it turned out pretty cute!

Luggage & Clock
I staged the decor with a clock since all trains have to be punctual and a vintage leather luggage since travelers use trains. It all added to the train themed birthday party!

The Food Menu
- Burrito Bowls: rice, grilled chicken
- Variety of chips, salsas, and guacamole
- Drink: virgin mojitos made with club soda, limes, and mint leaves
- Dessert: kiwi strawberry cake, raspberry meringue cake, nahzpizer (a German grape cake), and different fruits (no, I didn’t make all of this myself, my sisters helped)
Sorry I was busy hosting and didn’t get any photos of the menu. We all sure enjoyed it though!
