Soak the beans in water overnight.
Add beans, water or broth, onion, garlic, crushed red pepper, paprika, dried oregano, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and lemon juice into the instant pot.
Turn the "Manuel" button on the instant pot and set the time for 50 minutes.
Seal the steam release handle.
When timer is up, let it stand for another 10-15 minutes without releasing the steam.
Release the steam and blend the bean mixture using the immersion blender until it is creamy.
Enjoy in dips, tacos, burritos, or on the side!
